Because it's nap time {called "mesimeri"} in Greece. One of the few places in the world that still hold true to this age old, and beneficial custom.



Even the cats and dogs find a nice shady place for their siesta time!



Literally all of Greece comes to a halt in the mid afternoon and this is why it's the perfect place for anyone looking for a nice quiet place to take a vacation - yet still has all the perks!
